October is traditionally the month of the rosary prayer, a devotion Mary requested during her apparitions to the children in Fatima in 1917. At the John Paul II Foundation House in Lublin, a service is held daily after Mass with the participation of scholarship students, who, while preparing the liturgy and meditations on the mysteries, experience the first month of the new academic year with rosary in hand.
In recent days, annual meetings were held where students were reminded of their responsibilities under the Foundation’s scholarship and house regulations. The calendar of major upcoming events was also discussed, and class leaders were elected: Julia (first year), Vitaliy (second), Roman (third), Anna (fourth), and Vadym (fifth).
We wish them much strength and patience as they lead their classes!
