Immediately after the election of Karol Wojtyła, the Vatican began to propagate not only the official teaching of John Paul II, but also texts, books and works of Wojtyła from the period before the election. Soon, the entire world ordered copies of the books of the Cardinal from Krakow in various languages from the Vatican Printing House. The last very important moment, which I remember very well from my time in the Vatican, was the transfer of all copyrights to the Printing House of the texts of John Paul II and those from before his pontificate. And, immediately afterwards also to the works of Benedict XVI and similarly earlier, signed with the name of Cardinal Ratzinger. Today, the same applies to the works of Cardinal Bergoglio – Pope Francis. And, the Printing House? The Vatican Printing House, where Antonio Maggiotto worked for several decades, has always had the exclusive right to print all the texts mentioned above.
