The end of the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the JPII Foundation

Time is inexorably moving forward.  We went through the last hours of the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the John Paul II Foundation.   In the hour of mercy in the chapel of the Polish Home at Via Cassia in front of the Blessed Sacrament under the leadership of Monsignor Paweł Ptasznik – Chairman of the Administrative Council, we prayed the Chaplet to Divine Mercy.  Subsequently, people of particular merit for our Foundation received from the hands of the Prelate the medal Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice

Another commemorative plaque with the names of the benefactors of the JPII Foundation,  was solemnly blessed by  Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz.   The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Vatican, Mr. Adam Kwiatkowski, was present during this event.

Then the solemn banquet crowned the celebrations of the 40th Jubilee – the anniversary of the John Paul II Foundation.

Among multiple guests we can list Cardinal Stanisław Ryłko, Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Adam Kwiatkowski.

For dessert, a beautifully presented delicious cake brought especially for this occasion from Wadowice was served.

During the reception, Cardinal Ryłko, the long-standing Chairman of the Administrative Council, received a unique gift – a triptych depicting Our Lady of Częstochowa, St. John Paul II and St. Faustina – as an expression of gratitude for his involvement in the activities of the Foundation.

Gratitude expressed to the organizers of the Jubilee – Father Krzysztof Wieliczko and Ms. Anna Beata Kielech provided a special and touching moment.
