The end of the academic year and Fr. Jan’s name day

On Sunday, June 23rd at the Home of the John Paul II Foundation, we thanked God for the past academic year.  In our payers, we included also the Director of the John Paul II Foundation Home, Fr. Jan on the occasion of the approaching name day.

The Eucharist was celebrated by Fr. Jan and the homily was delivered by Fr. Robert.  In the first part of the homily, Fr. Robert focused on the question that the Lord Jesus directed to His disciples: “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” and “But who do you say that I am?” Fr. Robert was trying to explain why the answers to these questions are so important to the development of our faith.

In the second part of the homily, Fr. Robert focused on Fr. Jan who was celebrating his name day portraying him as our father, who is caring for all of us, but also very demanding.

At the end of the Mass, Fr. Jan thanked everyone for their presence and prayers. He also invited us for a tasty snack.
