On Thursday, May 19, 2022, the second group of scholarship recipients of the John Paul II Foundation from Lublin began its annual retreat. The retreat was led by Fr Bartosz Mrozek, a Sacred Heart Priest and national missionary from Krakow.
The theme of the retreat was the sacrament of penance and reconciliation. Every day we prayed Lauds, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and we participated in Holy Mass, adoration and conferences that answer the following questions: How to prepare for confession so that it is good? How can we not be afraid to stand in the truth about ourselves? How can we see the value of this sacrament in my life? In our free time, taking advantage of the beautiful weather, we played football, volleyball, badminton, and also had a nice time together. On Sunday, during the final dinner, we thanked both Fr Bartosz and all the members of the household who provided us with various help. We expressed our special gratitude to the ladies who prepared delicious meals for us.
