PLURIMOS ANNOS! Fr. Jan Strzałka’s birthday

On Tuesday, April 28th his 60th birthday celebrated Fr. Jan Strzałka, Director of the John Paul II Foundation Home in Lublin. On that day at 7 p.m. in our chapel, we expressed our gratitude to God for the Fr. Jan’s service and ministry that he is providing to all people related to the Foundation’s Home: scholarship recipient, employees, benefactors, and friends. Due to the limitations related to the coronavirus epidemic, only a few residents of the Home were able to attend the Mass.

The Eucharist was celebrated by the Jubilat, and the homily was presented by Fr. Robert Ptak. In his homily he emphasized the importance of meeting with the Risen Jesus Christ in the Bible, Holy Communion, and in a community of believers. He thanked Fr. Jan for his commitment to the proper functioning of the House, especially now during the epidemic, as well as for his concern for every resident.

After the holy Mass, young people who remained at the Foudnation’s Home made wishes, gave flowers and gifts along with a wonderful cake. Everything was accompanied by the birthday song “One hundred years!” (Happy Birthday).

Father John, our dear Director, let St. John. John Paul II intercession with God blesses you with health and necessary graces for every new day of your life!

Fr.Robert Ptak
