On the eve of Advent, on Saturday, November 26, 2022, in the John Paul II Foundation Home in Lublin, “otrzęsiny” took place, i.e. a satirical program related to the inclusion of first-year scholarship recipients into the student community. This year’s event was prepared in the style of the 90s of the twentieth century. It began at 6 p.m. with a Holy Mass celebrated by Fr Robert Ptak.
After the Eucharist, everyone gathered in the hall, where in a humorous way, in the form of recorded videos, “curiosities” from the life of the new scholarship recipients were presented. All participants were very pleased with this meeting, especially the first year scholarship recipients, who received symbolic gifts from their older colleagues. At the end, Fr. Robert thanked the second year for their ingenuity in preparing the program, and all participants for the pleasant atmosphere.
After leaving the hall, you could treat yourself to tasty sandwiches and nuggets. In this way, we once again experienced the family atmosphere that prevails in the Foundation Home in Lublin.
