On Monday, July 1st, started the preparatory and qualifying course of the scholarship program of the John Paul II Foundation in Lublin. To participate in the course, 32 young people from Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine were invited.
The preparatory course includes classes from Polish language and from major subjects. Professors of the Catholic University of Lublin and the Lublin University of Technology are teaching the classes. On the daily basis, young people are actively participating in the Mass, preparing the readings, the prayer of the faithful and singing.
Sightseeing of Lublin, as well as a visit to the former German Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camp (1941-1944) at Majdanek is included in the program of the preparatory course.
At the end of the course, the qualification commission will decide who will receive the scholarship award that will allow participating in the formation program and studying at the Catholic University of Lublin.
