With doing good things, one must not wait. If we feel that we should help someone, forgive someone, talk to someone, we should do it as soon as possible. What John Paul II said also on the occasion of the Easter message was always such a call to do good and to do it immediately – says Archbishop Mokrzycki. Man wanted to act right away. It was great wisdom. And, the great charisma of the Holy Father. What he said, and how he lived, transformed people’s hearts. John Paul II was counting on it very much. To change our hearts. “Man of our time! – thundered on Easter Sunday 1990. “A man who lives immersed in the world, believing that you are in control of it, when you are rather its victim, Christ frees you from all bondage and sends you to conquer yourself, to acquire a love that builds and seeks the good, a demanding love that will make you build and not destroy your tomorrow, your own family, your environment, your entire society.” He spoke to each of us. And, about each of us. He explained that Christ sets us free because He loves us. That He won our lives by giving His own. That He gave us and the world to God. And, He gave God to us and to the world. Forever.
