It was extraordinary – says the Archbishop. -Because I saw it myself, but nuns also told me that this has been ongoing for years. Every Friday the Holy Father had some ailment: either he had headache or something inside was hurting him or it was his heart. Someone will say it’s a coincidence. I don’t think so. Every time something was hurting the Holy Father on Friday, then nuns or Stanisław was saying that it is, as always, on Friday. The Holy Father was always affected by some suffering on Friday. The former Papal secretary says that John Paul II – as a holy man – was closer to Christ than any of us. Therefore, he shared His pain with Him, His Torment.
