Father Krzysztof Wieliczko’s visit in Munich

We were very pleased to receive the news of Father Wieliczko’s arrival in our parish. The current situation does not allow to organize regular meetings of our Foundation Chapter or to conduct our religious book selling events. We see each other only occasionally during Mass and services. Father Krzysztof came to Munich to unite us.

On Saturday, March 13, 2021 members of the John Paul II Foundation Munich Chapter gathered in the parish chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Częstochowa for the Eucharist celebrated by the guest, Fr. Wieliczko and the Chaplain of our Chapter Fr. Stanisław Pławecki. In his homily, Father Christopher emphasized that the Foundation’s friends scattered around the world cannot meet and make pilgrimages to Rome at present but are united by prayer. The power of prayer is great. It allows you to survive difficult times and has the power to renew every man. Although the activities of the Foundation’s Chapters may seem to be dormant, but they are not in a spiritual sense.

After the Mass our guest met with the Chapter board. The meeting had mainly a prayer and informational nature. On Sunday, Father Wieliczko delivered homilies at several Masses to bear witness to St. John Paul II and his great pontificate throughout the Polish parish community. Dear Father Krzysztof, we offer our heartfelt thank you for your effort and visit. May God bless you. Fr. Krzysztof infected us with his optimism and lifted our spirits.
