Exceptional Guests at the John Paul II Foundation House in Lublin

The John Paul II Foundation House in Lublin was honoured to welcome Mrs. Boguslawa Doerr, President of the Southern California Chapter of the Foundation, her husband Gerhard from Los Angeles, and Mrs. Anna Beata Kielech, long-time secretary of our Foundation in the Vatican and former administrative employee of the Catholic University of Lublin, on 10 July 2024.
The guests attended the 6 pm Mass with participants in the scholarship programme course. During the joint prayer, we expressed gratitude for the Foundation’s activities, its board members, benefactors, alumni, scholarship recipients, and new candidates.
Following the Mass, a meeting was held in the auditorium, during which young people from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Ukraine had the opportunity to introduce themselves and discuss their plans to study at the Catholic University of Lublin. Ms. Boguslawa Doerr shared her extensive experience working for the Foundation’s Circle of Friends and expressed her satisfaction with the success of the scholarship programme. Ms. Anna Beata Kielech also discussed her work on behalf of the Foundation and encouraged the young people to persevere in their pursuit of education.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the young people presented the guests with gifts as a gesture of gratitude for their kindness and pleasant visit.
