Course at the Foundation House

On Monday, July 8, 2024, a preparatory and qualification course for this year’s candidates for the scholarship program began at the John Paul II Foundation House in Lublin. Thirty-two students from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, and Ukraine are participating.

They attend daily Polish language lessons and subject-specific group sessions in their chosen fields, taught by professors from the Catholic University of Lublin.

The scholarship candidates prepare the liturgy and actively participate in the daily Eucharist through readings, music, and group singing, providing an opportunity to showcase their talents. Each day concludes with a communal dinner.

Everyone is in high spirits, filled with optimism and joy from their time at the Foundation. They express deep gratitude to all benefactors and friends, whom they commend to God in their prayers through the intercession of St. John Paul II.
