Administrator of the Foundation Leads Lenten Retreat in Sarnaki

From March 14 to 17, Monsignor Dariusz Giers, Administrator of the Vatican John Paul II Foundation, was invited to lead a Lenten retreat at the parish of St. Stanislaus the Bishop and Martyr in Sarnaki, within the Diocese of Drohiczyn, to which he belongs.

At the request of the parish priest, Monsignor Andrzej Jakubowicz, the retreat reflections centered on the teachings of St. John Paul II. During a session with children, a film of St. John Paul II’s meeting with participants of the “Ziarno” program on June 9, 1991, was shown, sparking a lively question-and-answer session. The offerings from the retreat collection were donated to the Papal Foundation.
