On February 4-5, 2020 took place the annual Administrative Council meeting of the John Paul II Foundation in Rome. The meeting started with a solemn Mass at the altar of St. John Paul II celebrated by Archbishop Marek Jędraszewski, who in accordance with the statues has the governing authority over the Foundation.
On the first day of the annual meeting, all activities of the Foundation that took place during the year were summarized. The second day was devoted to plans for the near future. The Administrative Council decided that on April 24-27, 2020 celebrations of the 100 anniversary of the birth of St. John Paul II will take place in Rome. The entire program of the celebrations along with the spiritual preparations for the anniversary was presented. The preparations are ongoing in the Chapters of the John Paul II Foundation through the visitation of the Triptych (the icon of Our Lady of Częstochowa and images of St. John Paul II and St. Faustina).
