Scholarship recipients of the John Paul II Foundation in Lublin took part in the “A Backpack Full of Smiles” initiative, helping to prepare charity backpacks for schoolchildren from Burundi and Ukraine. Volunteers joined the initiative organized by Caritas in Lublin, aiming to provide essential aid to children in need. The event took place on September 9, 2024, at the Caritas headquarters. The young volunteers enthusiastically packed donations, including notebooks, pencils, pens, pencil cases, as well as food supplies. All of these items are intended to assist children facing difficult conditions in their daily studies.
Thanks to the generosity of donors and the support of volunteers, children in Africa and Ukraine will receive essential materials for learning and personal development, making their challenging daily lives a little lighter and more joyful.
