NOW SCHOLARSHIPS OF THE FOUNDATION

On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, participants of the preparatory and qualification course at the House of the John Paul II Foundation in Lublin had the opportunity to engage in their final interviews, preceded by exams in the Polish language and specialised subjects. During a shared lunch, young people from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Ukraine expressed their gratitude to the House’s management and professors for the opportunity to participate in the course, for the time dedicated to them and for creating a family-like atmosphere.

The Holy Mass at 6:00 PM was presided over by the House’s director, Father Jan Strzałka, who highlighted that this had been a distinctive and unprecedented period for the course participants, not only in terms of the knowledge acquired but also in relation to the opportunity to deepen their faith. Through the intercession of St. John Paul II, prayers were offered for the leaders of the Foundation in Rome and all donors, to whom we are deeply grateful for their support, without which the Foundation’s Scholarship Program would not have been possible for so many years.

During the course, in addition to lectures and individual study, daily Eucharist held a special place in the daily schedule. There were also numerous joint meetings, integrative games, and excursions. In October, 22 new Foundation scholars will begin their studies at the Catholic University of Lublin, with the opportunity to choose from several selected fields of study.
