Charity Ball of the Friends of the John Paul II Foundation in Munich

On Saturday, June 15, 2024, the Charity Ball of the Friends of the John Paul II Foundation took place in Munich, attracting a diverse audience beyond just Polish-speaking guests.

The event was held in the elegant ballroom of the Kolpinghaus Hotel, with the goal of supporting the educational and cultural initiatives of the Foundation.

Attendees were warmly welcomed by the Chairwoman of the Friends’ Circle, Danuta Reizer, and Vice-Chairwoman, Agnieszka Hałuza-Jörg, emphasizing the importance of collective involvement in supporting the Foundation’s work.

The ball featured various attractions including a raffle and quizzes. Guests also had the opportunity to learn more about the Foundation, its mission, and its operational structure through conversations with members of the Friends’ Circle and through the informational materials provided.

This year’s charity ball was not just a celebration but also a moment for reflection on the values that were dear to Pope John Paul II’s heart. Thanks to the dedication and generosity of all participants, the Foundation can continue its mission. The entire proceeds will be donated to the Foundation in Rome, helping to fund further educational projects and scholarships for talented youth.
