Appeal – Part IV

I slept little and when I got there I was tired.  But at first, before I went to rest, I went to the church to celebrate Mass.  In this church there was then an academic Chaplain later Bishop, priest Ignacy Tokarczuk.  When I woke up after sleeping a little, it turned out that the news had already spread, because Father Tokarczuk said to me: ‘Ah, the new Bishop, congratulations!’

I smiled and went to a group of kayaking friends.  However, when I sat down to the paddle it was somehow strange again.  I was struck by the coincidence of dates: the date of the nomination I received; it was July 4th, and this day is the anniversary of the dedication of Wawel Cathedral.  It is an anniversary that I have always carried in my heart.  It seemed to me that this convergence meant something. I also thought that maybe these It seemed to me that this convergence meant something.  I also thought that maybe these kayaks are the last time.  Then, however, I must immediately admit, it turned out that I was kayaking many times, gaining strength on a kayak on rivers and lakes of Mazowsze. Actually, until the year 1978.
