This is precisely the teaching that Karol Wojtyła gave us

On the day when he beatified John XXIII and Pius IX, Pope Wojtyła noted that holiness is realized in history and therefore every saint is subject to the “limitations” and “conditionings” typical of the humanity of his/her time.  Now this remark also applies to him, to John Paul II, and probably someone noticed it during the canonization process.

This is the teaching that Karol Wojtyła gave us through his personal testimony.  He told us that human limitations are not, however, limits to God’s goodness and God’s mercy, that is, to the possibility that He offers to all His creatures to freely contribute to the full realization of His work of salvation.  Thus, holiness as “the high measure of ordinary Christian life.”  Defining it in these words in Novo Millennio Ineunte, Karol Wojtyła unconsciously outlined and showed his own life.
