On Sunday, July 3, 2022, we hosted an exceptional Guest at the Foundation Home in Lublin. It was the Bishop of the diocese of De Aar in South Africa, Adam Musiałek. Bishop Adam is a Sacred Heart Priest. In 1987 he went on missions to South Africa. In 2009, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him as the Bishop Ordinary of the Diocese of De Aar. Currently, the Bishop is on vacation break in Poland. Visiting the Sacred Heart Priests’ communities in the Archdiocese of Lublin, he joyfully accepted the invitation to celebrate a Sunday Mass, to deliver a homily and to give us a pastoral blessing.
After the Eucharist there was a meeting during which the Bishop presented the situation of the Church in his diocese and answered numerous questions of the scholarship recipients. At the end of the meeting, Ania Prosiekova performed three pieces on the violin, dedicating them to the Bishop.
