On June 24, 2022, at the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the solemn end of the academic year took place at the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL). In the morning, in the academic church of the Catholic University of Lublin, a Holy Mass was celebrated. The Mass was celebrated by Bishop Wiesław Lechowicz, Field Bishop of the Polish Army. At the end of the Eucharist, Rector Mirosław Kalinowski again entrusted the University to the Divine Heart.
Then, the participants went to the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński Hall, where the academy took place, during which, among others, solemn doctoral promotions took place. One of the promoted doctors was a graduate of our Foundation Maria Pelekh from Ukraine.
In addition, two of our current scholarship recipients from Ukraine, from the doctoral school, Vladyslav Rozhkov and Andrii Matvieiev, were among the winners of the Professor Zbigniew Zaleski Award, presented for scientific publications.
The musical setting was provided by the KUL’s Choir conducted by Professor Grzegorz Pecki, in which our scholarship recipients take an active part: Tatsiana Ivashkevich, Anna Prosiekova, Olha Shpynda, Sviatlana Stankevich, Pavel Zeynalov and Dziyana Vidziaila.
