On Wednesday, May 18, 2022, we celebrated the 102nd anniversary of the birth of Karol Wojtyla – St. John Paul II, the founder and patron of our Foundation. A solemn thanksgiving Mass was celebrated in the Chapel of the Foundation House in Lublin at 7 p.m. The Mass began with the song “Barka” – the Holy Father’s favorite song. Fr Robert Ptak, who celebrated the Eucharist, in his homily referred to the Gospel, which speaks of abiding in Jesus Christ and bearing good fruits, just like a branch in the vine. As a model, he gave the life and pontificate of St. John Paul II, who in this way produced wonderful fruits of holiness. He also recalled the Pope’s very important words addressed to young people: “You are the hope of the world. You are the hope of the Church. You are my hope.” Therefore, let us not disappoint his hope in us and let us bear good fruit in our lives!
After the Holy Mass and the May service, in a friendly atmosphere, a birthday treat was waiting for us.
St. John Paul II pray for us!
