PROTOCOL
MEETING OF THE BOARD OF THE CHAPTER ON 07/27/2021
1. Commencement of the meeting with prayer.
Present: Pastor Fr. Stanisław Pławecki, Ms. Marta Czempik, Ms. Danuta Ramczykowska, Ms. Beata T.-Paniak, Mr. Józef Pajonk.
2. Celebrations of the 100th anniversary of John Paul II’s birth for which the Chapter’s delegation goes on a pilgrimage. Due to the pandemic, the celebrations were postponed from April 2020 to September 18 and 19, 2021. Ms. Czempik will book accommodation for the reported 7 people.
3. Papal Day will be celebrated on October 10th or 17th. Mr. Scheffold – Wańczuk will purchase 700-800 keepsakes for donors. Fr. Pławecki emphasizes that in connection with this year’s beatification of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, the gadget could depict his image or refer to both. It has not yet been decided who will be the guest of Papal Sunday this year.
4. Urgent!
All those who have not yet paid the annual contributions of 20€ are asked to make these fees immediately to the treasurer, Mr. Joseph Pajonek. The time of the pandemic is a time of crisis and financial problems for many. We should be mobilized to be able to fully support the Foundation work as every year. For the year 2020, 11 people have not yet paid, while for the year 2021- 22.
5. Currently, we have 63 people as the members of the Chapter.
6. Our religious book fair is planned for autumn 2021, provided that there are no further restrictions dictated by the pandemic.
7. Due to the pandemic, the Andrzejki Ball organized by members of our Chapter is not planned this year.
8. After vacation time, the possibility of holding a meeting with all members of the Chapter is considered.
9. In our last Foundation’s newsletter, that was distributed by mail to all members of the Chapter, the following page: “The John Paul II Foundation expresses gratitude and perpetuates for the history names of those who have made a special contribution to its development” lists membership contributions from our Chapter. However, the total amount donated to the Foundation in Rome in the year 2020 does not appear.
