He was always interested as he knew our families

When I ask about concerns with which the Archbishop was going to the Pope, I hear that he went mainly with concerns of others.  Someone asked for prayers in misfortune, someone was sick and was just waiting for surgery.  A fellow priest had surgery on a brain tumor, so such things were said.  The Archbishop is saying that God saved him from problems.  Therefore, he was asking on behalf of others. And, John Paul II listened and prayed.

-Did the Archbishop also share his joys with the Holy Father?

-I talked about my parents and my siblings.  I was telling when my nephews were born.  He was always interested as he knew our families.  And he listened eagerly.  But we did not want to take much time from him.  We were trying not to absorb him with our matters.
