The Administrator of John Paul II Vatican Foundation visits the New Jersey

Msgr. Dariusz Giers, Administrator of the JPII Foundation, visited Friends of the JPII Foundation in New Jersey. The first stop took place in Hewitt, at the welcoming Parish of Our Lady Queen of Peace, site of a Polish Catholic Mission where he had a meeting with the members of the Chapter of Friends of JPII Foundation of New Jersey.

Msgr. Giers thanked Mr. Mieczyslaw Boksz (Administrator of the Circle) for the invitation and delivered a speech to the members and friends of the Chapter. A surprise visit to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boksz followed. Their home is the base of distribution of the Foundation Bulletin to the U.S, and to Canada.

The last stop of Msgr. Giers’ visit to New Jersey was in Passaic, at the Diocesan Shrine of Saint John Paul II, next to the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Here, the Administrator of the Foundation, had been invited by the parish Pastor Fr Stefan Andrzej Las, who is actively involved in promoting the legacy and memory of Saint John Paul II, particularly among the youth. Also functioning with the same goal in mind is the Polish School Jerzy Popieluszko, founded in 2010 and adjacent to the parish church.

During his visit, Msgr. Giers shared insights from his personal meetings with Saint John Paul II, emphasizing the significance of the Pontificate for the Church and the world. He stated, “We should be eternally grateful to God for the gift of a Pope native to Poland and remain forever proud of Him.”
