Her fiat, her purpose, and her love for us and our love for her is all about God. Through the Holy Rosary, we meditate on God’s Words. The Gospel becomes imbedded in our hearts, and Mary holds our hand to Jesus Christ. Saint Louis de Montfort is known for his particular devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the practice of praying the Rosary. Through his works, he reminded us the power of the Rosary prayer. Saint John Paul II also encouraged the practice of Rosary prayer. “The Rosary is my favorite prayer. A marvelous prayer! Marvelous in its simplicity and its depth”. On the Rosary prayer in family life, he once also said “How beautiful is the family that recites the Rosary every evening”.
