|John Paul II Foundation of New Jersey|
On the last Sunday of January 2015, the John Paul II Foundation New Jersey Chapter organized a carnival charity ball at the Cracovia Manor in Wallington. The proceeds from the ball will support activities of the John Paul II Foundation. Despite the flu epidemic in New Jersey, one hundred eighty people attended the ball. During the ball, the board of the Chapter presented a short film depicting St. John Paul II and goals which He assigned to the Foundation. Rev. Jacek Marchewka led the prayer and blessed all participants, while Rev. Mikołaj Ścibor read the letter from the Administrator of the Foundation, Father Krzysztof Wieliczko. In the letter addressed to all participants of the ball, Fr. Krzysztof was inviting them to Rome for the first anniversary of the John Paul II canonization.
During the ball, a young and very talented violin player Maria Chrobak presented a few music pieces. There was also a lottery, which provided not only funds for the Foundation, but also a lot of fun. This wonderful event provided a chance not only to have fun, but also to learn more about the John Pau II Foundation and its goals.
God bless all who helped to organize and participated in that event.
